Mild green mate tea - coarse leaf cut.

Especially clear due to a pure leaf cut, without knots and powder. Compared to the normal mate tea, this mild version has a coarser cut, the water does not penetrate the leaves as quickly and the infusions are milder with the same brewing time.

  • Ingredients: 100% organic mate tea (Ilex Paraguariensis)
  • Mixture: pure mate leaves
  • Content: depending on the selection 100g | 4 00g | 1 kg

  • Preparation: tea strainer, tea egg, French press, bombilla

  • Caffeine content: approx. 1.2-1.4%

Mate tea from caamate comes exclusively from mate trees from organic farming and their natural environment. The extraordinary taste and character is achieved, among other things, by the fact that the trees only grow in the shade and are only harvested every two years. This is followed by gentle drying and storage. The result is a top-class organic mate tea, low in acid, rich in nutrients and completely free of pesticides.


Mate tea from caamate is exclusively fair trade. What is otherwise unfortunately not a matter of course is for us a basic requirement for good coexistence, appreciation of all living beings and appropriate, fair payment.

Toller milder Mate Tee

Habe mir das Set mit den 2 Mate Bechern und 2 Trinklöffel geordert mit 3 Mate Sorten, dazu diesen Mate hier in 400g. Bin sehr zufrieden mit der Qualität, sehr mild und angenehm. Mit angenehmer wachmachender und belebender Wirkung. Auch das Hungergefühl wird etwas unterdrückt, finde ich.

Wollte von meinen überhöhten Kaffeekonsum wegkommen und das hat besser als gedacht funktioniert. Trinke eigentlich nur noch 1 Tasse Kaffee am Tag und ca. 1-1,5 Liter Mate Tee.

Kann jedem empfehlen, es mal mit Mate Tee zu versuchen, viel gesünder und angenehmer wie Kaffee. Auch mein Zuckerkonsum hat sich massiv reduziert, da ich meinen Kaffee recht stark zuckerte. Den Mate Tee aber nicht, hier reichen mir 2 Löffel Zucker oder Honig auf einen halben Liter. Dazu manchmal ein Schuss Kondensmilch, werde es demnächst mal mit der empfohlenen Hafermilch antesten.

Sehr geil und eine meiner Lieblingssorten!

Bin begeistert, mir schmeckt diese Sorte (neben der „nicht milden“ Sorte) am besten. Der Mate ist sehr ergiebig (habe mir die 1 kg-Variante genommen) und brauche 3 EL/Tag und trinke damit ca. 1,5 l
Auch der Preis (bei 1 kg) finde ich mehr als gut und man braucht nicht immer die Bombilla, ein Teebeutel tut‘s auch, wenn ich den Mate mal unterwegs mitnehme.
